Is PembiTube a cheap AI video generator?
It fills that need differently. PembiTube is a Codex-powered production system for long-form image-led documentaries. Instead of selling you finished video credits, it coordinates the tools and subscriptions you already control to produce the documentary.
How do I make faceless YouTube videos with it?
Set up the channel once, choose how scripts are created, connect ElevenLabs or MiniMax, then give Codex a topic or production schedule. Codex handles the production job and delivers the final MP4 and YouTube package.
Can it turn a script into a video?
Yes. You can provide your own approved script, let Codex write it, or optionally use Claude. PembiTube then creates narration, timed visual beats, generated imagery, assembly, QA and the finished video.
Do I need Claude?
No. Codex can handle research and scripting too. Claude is an optional route for creators who want scheduled scriptwriting or want to spread production workload across separate subscriptions.
What narration services does it support?
V1 is designed around ElevenLabs and MiniMax. Codex walks you through the connection process and keeps API credentials out of the chat by reading them locally from your clipboard into a git-ignored environment file.
Does it add music, captions, filters or cinematic effects?
Not by default. V1 produces the clean image-led documentary. If you want more polish, take the finished MP4 into CapCut or DaVinci Resolve and add your own music, captions, filters, transitions or branding.
What type of channel has it been tested on?
PembiTube has been used for long-form history documentaries, educational animation/explainer videos and fictional revenge storytelling. The documentary workflow has primarily been tested with viewers aged 55+. V1 is focused on narration-led evergreen formats rather than claiming it can automate every YouTube niche.

Can I schedule PembiTube to run automatically?
Yes. You can set production days, script deadlines and production start times. For example, Claude can finish a script earlier in the evening and Codex can pick it up later and start production on schedule.
How much Codex usage does a 30-minute video use?
In current testing, a roughly 30-minute video uses about 10% of Codex usage and has run fine on Terra. Treat that as a practical benchmark rather than a guarantee: usage can vary with retries, topic complexity, image generation and whether Codex is also doing the research and scripting.
Will this get my channel monetised?
No product can guarantee that. PembiTube is designed to make the pre-monetisation production stage cheaper and more repeatable so you can publish, learn what the audience responds to and decide whether the channel deserves a bigger production budget.
